Hello!
Firstly, one run of SURT completely crashed. That was the very first log you posted. Notice that there is no footer. You then dealt with the unfortunate issues you faced from SURT admirably (I would have done exactly the same, although maybe I would have waited a little bit longer) The error message you then received from SURT (0x80240009) maps to WU_E_OPERATIONINPROGRES, and is very much a temporary, not too serious error.
Then, error code 0xC355 is not a primary error message. It will go away when we fix the other error code (0x80070bc9), and cannot be fixed itself (the 0x80070bc9 error code can be fixed, and the 0xC355 will go away at the same time - famous last words!) Trust me on this.
Error code 0x80070bc9 maps to ERROR_FAIL_REBOOT_REQUIRED. This is the error code that every single failure is blamed on.
Background over, let's attempt a fix.
Firstly, it is unlikely that this is simple. When things are simple and successful, rebooting with updates works perfectly. The fact that it hasn't worked perfectly is slightly concerning.
Please try your updates one at a time, and restart between each one. Do not run SURT without restarting your computer, as that also uses the Update Engine.
Any joy?
Thanks a lot!
Richard
