Cant shut down because of update
Hello, When I try to shut down my computer there is a gold shield on the shut down icon and when hover my pointer over it says, Installs updates and shuts down computer. The problem is when I try to shut down, I see that the update is being installed, but it doesn't shut down. Just stays on that screen. Ive tried it twice, once letting it sit for 30 minutes.
I have updates set up to notify, not to download but some how that was changed. I changed it back.
Heres reliability monitor.
Heres my current updates waiting to be downloaded and installed.
The failed updates (highlighted) have already been installed and are wanting to be installed again.
The update I circled in blue. Could it be the culprit? I cant find that its been installed and its not waiting to be installed.
What I would like to do is somehow get rid of it from the shut down icon so I can shut down. Then if it wants to be installed again, I wont install it.
Tried a restore point, no go. I have an image if I need it.
Ill be away for while, check back later. Thanks
