Ah yes, now that I remember ProcMon actually shows the changed keys... thanks for help really. I know more people will find this thread helpful.

Hi guys!.. What's teh sevenforums.com/ Windows 10 (Technical Preview) forum(s) URL?.. Can't find it!! :-/

Alright, WU in Windows 10 does NOT have the option 4 "Never check for updates (not recommended)", but the good thing is that the default admin. template is "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them"; which is c00l, really! =)

.. so, what's the way to disable the updates; like there was in Windows 7 - short of disabling the Windows Update Services (services.msc)?! o.0
