    NoelDP-

Thank you very much for your help with this. Thank you as well to all with your assistance as well. You guys are great and YES I PROMISE to STEP AWAY from the registry cleaners from this point on!

BTW....With the update KB971033 can one uninstall that without having to worry about problems arising? I have read on the net that it is rumored to be some kind of tracking tool MS is using and personally I can't stand to talk to them on the phone let alone let them track me on the net.

SO could one ininstall this update without causing problems?

ONCE AGAIN MANY THANKS TO ALL!

KB971033 does NOT cause any problems unless your installation is non-genuine.

Yes, you can uninstll it if you really want to - but I do not recommend it.

RemoveWAT does NOT show the same errors - but it DOES show other ones which are characteristic.
    Do some reasearch.
It sure as heck did the last time I encountered and fixed it!

Since you completely refuse to believe anything I say, perhaps you will believe a MS Forum, perhaps, just perhaps...

    File Scan Data-->
    File Mismatch: C:\Windows\system32\wat\watadminsvc.exe[Hr = 0x80070003]
    File Mismatch: C:\Windows\system32\wat\npwatweb.dll[Hr = 0x80070003]
    File Mismatch: C:\Windows\system32\wat\watux.exe[Hr = 0x80070003]
    File Mismatch: C:\Windows\system32\wat\watweb.dll[Hr = 0x80070003]

However, if you look at the Diagnostic Report, it shows that the WAT update has not been installed or (more likely considering the other parts of the report) was removed at some point, possibly using the Remove WAT tool that is floating around the internet (that Remove WAT tool doesn't do anything good and will usually cause problems like this).
SOURCE: genuine error code 0x8007007e specific module could not be found...
    2nd post down...

    Or here:

the above file errors are typical of a system that has used RemoveWAT to circumvent the activation requirements.
Source: Windows 7 is not Genuine <- Probably a leaked key

Did you actually READ your references - since I was involved in BOTH threads you quote, I am WELL aware of what was said, and why - and your references actually PROVE that you are wrong.

I have experience of solving over 3000 related WGA problems in those forums alone - I suspect that I know a little more than you do.

    NO-L:

I dont know what your problem is, but we are here to help. If all you want to do is argue and belittle everyone here including OP's, go back to your 3000+ solution forum!

Yes, I did read them, and more! I have over 20 years in this business, hold many industry certs, and I dont need to prove anything to you! How you can remember posts from another forum when you couldnt even keep track of this on is beyond me! You seem to be tooting your own horn here, for your own sake not ours!

BELIEVE THIS... I HAVE SEEN THIS ERROR BEFORE AND IT WAS ATTRIBUTED TO THE REMOVE WAT TOOL.

OK... if you're such an expert, how come I got it solved for the OP before you did????? Possibly because I didnt belittle him, and actually offered real assistance!

PS - An expert is merely a drip who's a has been!

It may have been 'attributed' to the WAT tool.
RemoveWAT is a totally different beast - which attempts to circumvent the activation and validation requirements of Windows 7.
The WAT Update (KB971033) is an update to the Windows OS which is optional, unless you are running software which requires validation.
The MGADiag report will report ANY system (try a clean install sometime, and immediately run an MGADiag report) that does not have the WAT Update installed with those 4 error message, but it will NOT flag it as non-genuine for that reason. As soon as the update is properly installed, the errors will disappear.

RemoveWAT, on the other hand will produe other error codes for the same files, if present, and will also give the errors I quoted above.

From what I've seen of this thread, you did NOT solve it - the OP did, by using System Restore to rtepair the mess that WiseFixer made of his registry.

Okay just ran the regenerator and have the following:

30 days to activate. activate windows now. (with a set of car keys)

then A product ID and a link to change the product key.

SO should I just enter my product key at this point?
See... the regenerator that I suggessted, and you called a "hack" fixed his issue! Now kindly move on to your next argument!

More proof you cant even follow this one thread!

It IS a hack - and had nothing whatever to do with the solution.
The report the OP posted BEFOrE running that was perfectly OK.

Somehow , I think that it's you that doesn't get the reality of the situation.

Dude... Im sick of dancing around on this topic with you!!!

You have an extremely myopic view of all this, and furthermore you want to criticize and belittle everything posted in this thread by anyone other than yourself!
    1. He ran the regenrator tool, that I suggested he run. The tool you said was a hack! It did what it is intended to do... it fixes issues with locked and unsuccessful activations. He could have done the same with the commands I gave him too!
    2. After he ran it, it activated and no problemo.
    3. What about that do you still fail to understand?
I prefer to not waste anymore of my time on you! I'd rather pick lint from my ten toes with my teeth, than deal with you anymore.

My time can be used more productively helping people who can actually be helped!
