Is the Windows SP1 worth of installing? I installed the SP1 when it was released.
I experienced several problems regarding compatibility with programs.
As the question states I want to know that should I upgrade to SP1 now that new updates have come?

Hello guys,
Yes, I believe that it's worth installing the SP1 for the updates and patches that it provides. You might see if this may help for any other details and FAQs though. Ah! thanks.
But, this makes me ask another question, is the RTM final release different/better than the (i dont know) first release?

If you don't have Service Pack then you don't have Windows 7 as it exists now.
It's like an overhaul of a car engine - it becomes the engine.
Users once avoided XP SP3 because it was thought to have issues - now we don't even want to use an XP installer without it because it's XP's last link to modernity. | My System Specs | | |

Never download and install any preview, beta or similar versions of a new service pack, unless you're willing to be a guinea pig.
Always wait for the final (RTM) release. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom-built OS Windows 7 Professional SP1 32-bit CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz, overclocked to 2.7GHz Motherboard Asus PL5D2 Memory 3GB DDR2-667 (2x1GB + 2x512MB in dual-channel config) Graphics Card nVidia GeForce 9800 GT Sound Card on-board Realtek HD Monitor(s) Displays LG W2261 Screen Resolution 1920x1200 (DVI) Keyboard Standard Mouse Microsoft wireless optical mouse PSU Antec TruePower 2.0 Case Cooler Master Centurion Cooling various fans Hard Drives OCZ SSD Vertex Plus 60GB SATA (Firmware 3.55), 64MB cache
