    800B0100 error

All of my security updates are failing with the 800B0100 error code and I just noticed that this has been occuring since 11/15 when my computer downloaded SP1 (successfully). Other downloads are working (eg, Hotfix for Windows KB947821 downloaded successfully on 12/5). It appears that only the security updates are failing. My computer was bought new on 10/31/11 and has Win 7 Home Premium x64. The initial security updates DID work but occassionally failed. After the SP1 download, none are working. I have run the System Update Readiness Tool. Attached are the CHECKSUR log and the CBS log. I would greatly appreciate any help!

Oops - I gues it helps if you hit the "upload" button. The CBS file was 10MB so I had to seriously cut it down to size. Not sure how helpful it is now. Thanks.

The CheckSUR log shows no problems - you can generate a meaningful CBS extract to post, using the information from here....

(I see nothing unusual so far)

Nope - still nothing untoward in the log.

I suggest that your try the fixit from here...
You receive “0x80070643” or “0x643” error codes when you try to install .NET Framework updates through Windows Update or Microsoft Updates
    it may help

I tried the method 1 FixIt but no luck. Here's an interesting fact...when I run update, it starts by saying "downloading" the update but this downloading process for a 10MB file only lasts1-2 seconds...it *should* last at least 10-15 seconds. The update process then immediately fails. It makes me wonder if the download is failing somehow?
