Windows 7 - Failure configuring windows update reverting updates...pc not booting

I just installed updates through windows update and it asked me to restart. After restarting it shows
"Failure configuring windows updates
Reverting changes
Do not turn off your computer"
It then just got stuck and is not loading
I tried to load windows 7 in safe mode but i was unable it says the same stuff as above


I am currently using pc through ubuntu which i have installed in dual boot mode along with windows 7 (32 bit) .
Pls help me solving this problem from ubuntu as windows is not starting even in safe mode.
