Everybody is expecting some sort of a fix/patch that will take care of that before the launch of Windows 7. This way, none of that will happen.
FYI, that's what I've read and what I've been told. I don't know if this is completely correct.
umm MS (HAS) already issued leveno a new master key
and black listed the leaked key as NO oem machines are running 7
and wont be till October
but if you payed close attenchion this was the exact same issue with vista RTM it was NEVER fixed just cemented over..
and infarct still works post sp1
so unless Ms actuarially modifys how OEM keys are activated then this WONT ever be fixed
