major update problem on OS windows 7 home premium

    Well it's moved along. That's a good thing.

    With updates I have mine set to let me choose what ones to download. The update icon lets you know when updates are available. Pretty much what that link says although windows 7 is a little bit different.

    He could being running on power supply from wall.

    Somewhere I read that it may or may not extend battery life if you remove battery when electric power supply is available. But my memory has failed me before so don't take this as Gospel truth.

    sorry i wanst clear,i just removed my battery in order for the laptop to shut down completely,because the laptop doesnt give me any options to close it down,so it was a move of desperation.and when i put in the battery again it was going crazy runnig down updates on the screen.

    Have you completed the update install yet?
    Make sure when all updates have downloaded and install is complete to reboot your computer.

    Hello dude, you simply go to start menu> All program> you find windows update> change setting > important update>check for update but let me choose whether to download and install them.

    my goodness guys!

    its 11 at night and its still installing updates!what us going on?!?!?!?!...i went for a movie(saw war horse not bad)
    went for food,returend and its still updating,so i turned it off,and on again,and its still updating!but im on 6 or 6 updates,this is been going on since yesterday,almost 24hours and so on!...
