Windows Service Pack 1 Update fail Code 800B0100 Greetings to everyone from Puerto Rico. Let me start off by explaining that I have had this problem for a week or 2 and I have searched everywhere on the internet and have followed all the advice I have read and still nothing, it has come to the point I registered here to see if someone could help me because I'm just frustrated and mad at this point.
I think this problem is common enough and I know a lot of users have gone through the same.
I have added the CheckSur.log and CheckSur.persist.log
Any and all help will be appreciated, thank you for your time. | My System Specs |

Hi and welcome to seven forums,
I don't know for sure as it was a long time ago for me but I think I had an issue installing service pack one and it was all down to windows defender.
I think I either disabled it while installing or uninstalled it and then reinstalled it after.
Might not work for you but worth a shot.

Any and all help will be appreciated, thank you for your time. Hello, and welcome to the Seven Forums!
CheckSUR.log usually diagnoses this error quite effectively, but as you can see from "No errors detected", you have a rarer strain of this error, and hence your solutions will be different from most of what you search for online. Not to worry though, there are solutions
Firstly, please run this Fix-It in Aggressive Mode: How do I reset Windows Update components?
It MUST be run in Aggressive Mode to have any chance of fixing this exact problem.
Restart your computer, and tell me if the problems persist.
If the problems perist, and you need only do this if they do,
please copy the C:\Windows\Logs\CBS folder to your Desktop, right click on it > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder, and upload the new file which is created on your Desktop here.
Thanks a lot!

I've tried the Fix-It, but not sure if I have it on aggressive mode, but running it the way it presents it self to me it says it fixed the problem but it hasn't

Just for interest sake - please run an MGADiag report and post the results.
To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine, but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker! Here's CBS folder as asked and thanks for all the help Hello again!
The fact that you were not offered the Aggressive Mode is significant, but it was my fault, and not yours.
My tongue is tied due to legal reasons. There is a bitter war on at the moment, not that most people realise, and not that I can say, but the real Fix-It, the one I tried to link to has been removed. In its place is a Fix-It with far less power, and no Aggressive Mode.
I did not realise when I made my post, hence why I sent you a Fix-It which did not fix the problem. I can only appologise for that.
Since we can no longer use Microsoft Fix-Its, we must go third party. It is completely safe, does exactly the same as the old Microsoft one (I have checked it personally, it really is exactly the same).
Please run both batch files here: Windows Update - Reset
restart, and tell me if the problems persist.
I truly did not realise that the Fix-It had been removed. That disgusts me.
