Blank Screen and Blinking Cursor on Restart after Windows Update

Hi everyone. New to this Forum.

I just received my computer from CyberPC. There is an OEM Windows 7 Professional 64-bit installed. I turned on the machine and it started up fine and I activated the OS. Then I did the Windows Updates. After install 37 updates it told me to restart. Here is what happens when I restart:

1. black screen, cursor on top left corner of screen.
2. series of alpha-numeric figures appear at the bottom right corner of screen in sequence.
It's always 98, B4, 99, 92, A2, B2
3. blinking cursor appears at the top left corner.

None of the F keys work. When I restart and hit the F2 continuously, it says "entering setup" at the bottom left hand corner then disappears, but it never enters setup.

That's it. It just leaves me at the black screen, blinking cursor and me sad.

Please help.
