    Did you ever come up with anything on my problem? If not that's ok. Just wondering what the heck is goin on with this thing.

    If it was me, I'd download the .iso from mydigitalriver that already includes SP1. It saves time during an install, and makes these issues non-existent. The site is owned by Microsoft, and is completely legit, assuming you have your own license key.
