Attempting to update windows 7 SP1 I get the following error 0x800f080d
Running windows with just microsoft services and removing all startup has no joy.

Found the following after doing some reserch.

Have found errors in Checksur attached to post can anyone help me with the corrupt files..

As it is a dell with an OEM copy of windows I cannot run a windows repair.

Not sure what else can be done?

    Found the files online

Found some files on your forms and googled the other one managed to get them and stick them in the C:\Windows\temp\CheckSUR\servicing\Packages folders.

Ran Windows6.1-KB947821-v14-x64 and it fixed the errors.

Thanks to niemiro and his previous posts helping lots of people because his information lead my to solving my problem.
