If you needed to do a system restore to the restore point, there will not be any downloaded SP1 files to delete since the restore takes you back to how you are now before trying to install SP1.

Thanks Brink!

I have never been certain about the difference between downloaded files from updates and installed updates when doing restore.

As always SevenForums is a GREAT site!

I also have to do a MSE client update (version 2) soon. I have done it on my XP machine, but usually I tend to wait a bit to make sure others are not having issues.
