| | first try: click on the start orb  type in cmd in the search bar, right click and select "run as administrator" and type in the following one by one:regsvr32 jscript regsvr32 vbscript regsvr32 /i mshtml you will get a confirmation dialogue on each. also download the http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 and run this microsoft fix it tool. and restart. after doing this, check the windows update again and post back. |

| | Hello AtlasChild, and welcome to Seven Forums. To help make sure that you system is malware/virus free, you should do a full scan of your system with MalwareBytes free to be safe. If none of the above helps, then you might see if doing a system restore using a restore point dated before this issue started to hopefully undo the cause and fix it. Hope this helps, Shawn |
