    Windows 7 RTM Activation

Every couple of days, my "activated" RTM would keep reverting to a trial based OS. I would reactivate it but then it would do the same a couple of days later.

Can anyone help me activate it permanently?

    I have a Sony Vaio VGNSR490 with Windows 7 Ultimate (7600.16385)
I did a clean install of W7 and reinstalled my drivers.

Anything else you need to know? Please ask specifically

Have you tried another key? Although I haven't had any problems like this on any of my machines, grabbing another Technet/MSDN key might help.

When you say "activated" do you mean by illegal ways?

If you are using any kind of loader and bios mod my advise is: don't do this... it will bring serious problem to your machine...

    I'll be specific as possible.
    1. where did you download your ISO?
    2. what type KEY did you use?
    a. Official MSDN Key?
    b. Official Technet KEy?
    c. If you used a Loader-plz close the thread. that is illegal and can not be discussed here.
And you can save us a lot of problems trying to help you fix a illegal system. which we can not do.

my 30 days was up yesterday. i forgot to rearm, so im just going to install 7260 again. all of the fun of the RTM, and none of the legal loopholes. i hate loops....

my assumption is that you have a non-MS friendly version. if im wrong, sorry. but if you want to maintain an activated 7 OS, use 7260 (32bit) or 7264 (64 bit) for now, until you have the means to obtain a legit license.

A "loader" in this case allows you to circumvent Windows activation...it is illegal to discuss such things on SevenForums

A loader is a way to attempt to circumvent legal activation, and is considered piracy on these forums...
