32-bit Windows 7 laptop will not install this update. I have tried all the Fix Its and methods I can think of and I'm still not able to install this update. Is anyone else having this problem?
System info:
Dell Latitude D630
Windows 7 SP1
Intel Core Duo CPU T75000 @ 2.20 GHz
2 GB RAM
on a SBS server network.
Run the Update Readiness Tool please post the log file generated %WINDIR%\Logs\CBS\Checksur.log
Also you will find errors within the event viewer. Click start in the search field type eventvwr.msc press enter. In the Event Viewer on the left select Windows Logs then select System. In the middle window scroll down until you find Red exclamation icons that relate to Update Fail. There should be more specific indicators there why this KB is failing.
Please post both the Ckecksur.log mention first as well as a listing of event log failures.
