Windows 7 and Vista clients don't update Service pack from WSUS Server
The service packs (SP1 for 7 and SP2 for Vista) have been approved for install. Clients just don't detect that SPs being available on the server.
I ran WSUS Detection tool from Microsoft and it said 'passed' and clients are able to contact WSUS Server.
Help?

Are they picking other updates up still?
IIRC, WSUS only downloads a minimal SP - so that the clients have to be fully updated before they will see the SP offered (but I could be wrong - it's been a while)

They picked up definition updates for MSE.
The time line is as follows:
I installed MSE and several Windows Updates for those clients (totally unpatched)
I installed WSUS on the server
I pointed Clients to pick up updates from WSUS
I synch-ed WSUS manually with Microsoft Update
I noticed MSE is picking up updates but not Windows updates, even one.

Hmmm - unless anyone else has any better ideas, I'd think you may be better off asking in the ITPro forums, as they will probably have more experience than most here with WSUS (certainly more than I do!)
