Hello All - I am vinoth . I need help in Windows 7 . We have a windows 7 desktop and we have our vendor software which is running in the desktop . we are using the admin credentials for the desktop . We were able to install the software and it is working fine too . The issue which we are facing is the software is not running in the admin mode but we wanted the software to be running in the administrator mode . Each and every time we are doing a right click on the software and clicking on Run as Administrator and instead of that i tried the below steps too but then " the setting which i am applying is not getting stayed, meaning - when i select run the program as administrator" I can see that it is getting selected but then once we click on apply and ok and once again if you check whether the option is enabled or not , the option is getting disabled " the tick mark is not staying and the software is not running in the admin mode . Please let me know if you have any idea on this . If i am not clear let me know and i can explain it better . Thanks !
1. On the Start menu, locate the program that you want to always run as an administrator.
2. Right-click the application’s shortcut, and then click Properties.
3. In the Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.
4. Do one of the following:
To apply the setting to the currently logged-on user, select the Run This Program As An Administrator check box, and then click OK.
