| | Questions about system activation Today I logged into windows 7 RTM and I checked my system. It says under windows activation Status Not Available Product ID: Not Available does this mean that there is somehow no activation period? I still hadn't activated it with a valid key as I don't have one but since it says not available will I not have to? |

| | No, that's not what it means. It simply takes a little while to check the activation status. If you watch the screen for a short while, it should update itself and report the correct activation status, in your case, not activated and how many days left to activate. |

| | ok thanks! EDIT: Its not coming up. It still says that after more then a minute with just it running. |

| Windows 7 Ult x64(x2), HomePrem x32(x4), Server 08 (+VM), 08 R2 (VM) , SuSe 11.2 (VM), XP 32 (VM) In a ∞ Portal | the software protection service was disabled enable it and it will show you your current stand on activation...
