    Windows 7 SP1 error 80071A90 and Error_Transactional_Conflict(0x80071a

I just tried downloading Windows 7 SP1 for 32 bit again and got error code 8071A90. I've downloaded the Fix it and installer, scanned for patches, fixes, updates of updates, disabled security, tried install direct from windows update and also from windows stand alone on website, haven't tried in safe mode yet. When it tries to configure it restarts and then says "the function attempted to use a name that is reserved for use by another transaction" (hunh?!)
and when it reboots again says ERROR_TRANSACTIONAL_CONFLICT(0X80071a90)
Any ideas how to outsmart this sneaky service pack1? I ran a verifyonly scan of the systems files and it came back with integrity violations but I can't figure out how to view the cbs logs when I search for it access is denied even though I am administrator. I'm not terribly smart with computers...Any ideas anyone? Should I try a SFC /scannow???

Okay I finally got this out of the sfc scannow and this is the only part with issues. This means absolutely nothing to me . Does this explain a cranky non-downloadable Service Pack 1 for 32 bit???
