| | Windows update cannot search for updates. error 80248015 When I go to windows update it's in red and when I click to check for updates,I get the message Windows cannot check for updates error 80248015. I checked my settings and they are ok. Ran the update readiness tool but to no avail. Tried System restore and to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. I tried Microsoft FIX it but I get the message that it cannot connect to the server. Any help would be appreciated.   |

| | joodoo!!!!, Thank you very much. That was the problem. I looked at the date and time before,the time was right so I DIDN'T pay attention to the date(duh!). It was wrong! Thank you for your help. |
