You received that MS Live Esentials update because you have Windows Live Mail which is one of the prorams offered in Windows Live Essentials. There is a new WLM version.... build 15.4.3555.0308
Have a look at your WLM version....
Open WLM > click the blue button at top left > About > what version does it say ?
I bet yours is not the same.
You should have accepted the updates. It would have updated your WLM, and it wouldn't and couldn't update any Windows Live Essentials programs that you don't have. You have nothing to worry about accepting the update.
