    Don't understand the question.

"To resolve this problem, try the following methods. After you perform the steps in each method, test to see whether the problem is resolved before you go on to the next method. If the problem is resolved by any method, you do not have to use the remaining methods."

If you have a legit key you can download the ISO with windows 7 SP1 and install it from the USB.

What version of Windows 7 do you have a key for?

    Download the ISO here

    http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-24394.iso

This is an untouched ISO of Windows Ultimate SP1 32bit and it it completely legal. It is valid for 30 days until you must enter your windows 7 Ultimate key

You can then use the following tool to make a bootable flash drive.

    http://images2.store.microsoft.com/p...B-DVD-tool.exe

    Perform a clean installation.

    Clean Install Windows 7

    Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for your help
But I was using windows xp for the past few months
    I recently installed windows 7..
It's a clean install and it's been having this problem since i installed
I just got settled I don't want to have to reinstall windows
    I any other options?
Isn't sp2 coming around corner? Shouldn't I just wait until sp2 and see if that will install?
No use in installing sp1 through a bunch of trouble then experiencing same with sp2
Hopefully they will fix this somehow in sp2

    I' m not sure about SP2.

If you've tried all the methods, reinstalling WITH sp1 is the only option left.

Sorry I could not have been of more assitance
