    Windows Update not working.

Hi, i've been unable to do a windows update, it simply doesn't start and gives me an error message. When I tried SFC/SCANNOW in the command prompt, the scan completed and I got: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files, but was unable to fix some of them. So that's about where I got to.

Hello maximaldesign and welcome to Seven Forums.

It's recommended that the sfc /scannow be run from an elevated command prompt. If problems are found run the scan at least 3 times, rebooting in between each scan.
