    or... in full :)

To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool
(download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
    - **in your own thread**, please
Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!
    How to Tell

(Golden - please feel free to crib that boilerplate in its entirety - MS did, after all! <g>)

    Hi,

There are a few issues here, but you appear to have a HP SLIC table on a DELL machine, which is usually an exploit. I'd like a second opinion on this, so I'll ask NoelDP to take a look at this. Please look out for his reply.

    Regards,

What you have is an installation of Windows 7 enabled by a hacker's Loader too (properly known as an Activation Exploit)

You have a Dell computer - but the SLIC table claims to be an HP one.
The Key is from a Dell - but it's very likely that the machine was delivered from the factory with a Home Premium installation, and not the Ultimate install that the machine is trying to validate.

The fact that a Loader has been used means that there is no way to properly guarantee the integrity of the current install, and you should reformat and resintall using the proper manufactuer's recovery media.
