    Hi,

To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool:

    1. Download and Save to desktop from this link:
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012

    2. Once saved, run the tool. Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.

    3. Click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages), and then paste into your next reply.

    Regards,
    Golden

    Hi,

Thats all I wanted to check, as I can't see an obvious problem with the MGADIAG report.

You mentioned that you had some virus issues before - when you did this new installation, can you confirm that it was a clean installation? In other words, you completely formatted the disk during the installation of Windows 7?

    regards,
    Golden

yes, i formatted both of my partition C and D, then installing, but i dont know i might be wrong, how u do a clean install??

is it possible that windows only allowed up to 4/5 times activation via online?

actually as for now my windows have been activated, i send email before to seapa@microsoft.com then put in my installation ID and my product key then the cs sends the confirmation id and i put it in,

but its too much work if i have to do this again the next time i reinstall my windows

    Hi,

So its all validated now? I speak under correction, but I think that sometimes keys will be temporarily locked if you attempt too many installations and validations in short succession, but this is usually fixed via telephone activation.

You simply need to use Telephone activation -
this is to confirm that the conditions of the license are still being met.
Assuming your activation goes OK, then you will be able to activate over the internet again if necessary.
However, if you frequently reinstall on the same hardware, you would be far better to create a default install and then make an image backup of that, and restore it, as that will then contain all the proper updates etc., and your default programs - tehreby cutting down the time and work involved in gettting the system back up and running satisfactorily.

    telephone activation (operator calls)
    Click on the Start button
    in the Search box, type
    SLUI 4
    and hit the Enter key
follow the instructions - but when asked which service you require by the telephone ansafone, do NOT reply - this should force an operator to respond, who can deal with you
