Are these updates needed: ASUS Android, Logitech Download Assistant

I've got a Logitech Wireless Performance Mouse MX and an ASUS Transformer Prime tablet, which has resulted in some optional updates showing up. AFAICT, the devices have been working fine. Should I install the updates anyway:

Go ahead and install the updates. They contain bug fixes or other types of improvements.
