Latest W7 IE9 update seems to cause cookie problem.

The cumulative security update for W7 (x64 pro) has been causing me real problems and I couldn't figure out what was happening at first.

All my cookie and login info after performing a browser cleanup isn't now remembered. I can for example enter my details for this site and as soon as I exit IE and log back in all cookie info is gone.

Normally I do a clean up and then import a cookie file with details of perhaps 20 sites on it. This doesn't now work.

Uninstall that update and all is back as it should be.

I have recovered to an Acronis image and currently have installed all updates minus this one.

Anyone else had this issue ?

I update the same way on my another Windows 7 64bit system.
    Everything works fine.
Check to find whether there is any option item been selected after the update.
    It's not serious.

    Thanks for reply :)
I looked at all the IE tick boxes but nothing I could see seemed altered.

    Problem solved...

Short version is that my personal settings for IE don't work with the new update. I also seem to be experiencing the same problem with a Vista laptop. These settings delete history on exit leaving favourites temp files, cookies and form data untouched. The new update doesn't behave the same with these settings. I ran the "reset IE" option in the advanced tab and using the defaults all is well. Change the settings back to my custom ones and it fails.
