repeat updates
Hi guys
Got a bit of a weird problem that I can't sort. For about a fortnight or so I had had two windows updates that would appear in the automaatic updater. If I hit the install button they install and it says they installed succesfully but they remain in the to be installed queue. Every time I shut windows down it installs two updates before closing. Always when I return, the same two updates were there. They were:
KB 2656351
KB 2600217
I have searched on the intrnet and tried downloading and installing updates manually, but they still kept appearing in the queue and installing at shut down.
I also uninstalled and re-installed the Microsoft.net framework 4 client profile. Upon doing this i then had six updates to update including the above two. Now every time I install the six th six remian in the queue.
Other problems include my internet behaving slightly screwy (lagging when loading up webpages for instance) and my clock being a couple of hours out. I did a virus scan with Kaspersky and it came up clean.
Any suggestions - this is beginning to wind me up?
