Dear sir, I would like to thank you for your help. i am finally able to go back to win7 with ease of your steps. i was tired of windows 8.1 and 10 always having issues.

For anyone having this issue download all updates {i didnt do step3 for IE 11} restarted the computer and disconnected my internet to install of of these with no issue. After the final restart, i did a windows update and in 10 min got them going. Thank you so much for your help.

    Hi guys,

So Thrash's 3-update solution did not work for me. Trying all 11 steps while offline now. May someone answer to if they think I should to the optional updates on step 3 as well?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Armada,
Did you get any errors installing any of the updates ?
Possibly it would be best to ask a new question and post this info in it for support with the problem
