Not unusual with ASC - it seems to effectively trash System Restore when it'sinstalled and/or run.

Please run the following commands in an Elevated Command Prompt window....

    DIR C:\window\sppobjs.dll /s

    DIR C:\window\sppobjs.dll.mui /s
    SFC /SCANFILE=C:\window\sppobjs.dll

Here are some instructions to make life easier :)
    1) To open an Elevated Command Prompt Window (the CP window), click on Start, All Programs, Accessories – then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
    2) To run the commands easier, highlight the block of commands, and right-click on the highlight – select Copy. In the CP Windows, click on the black/white icon at top left – select Paste. The commands will run but may not complete the last command, so hit the Enter Key once.
    3) To copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.

Something/one has deleted the file - and its backup

We need to replace it - but there's not much point in replacing that one file, if there are others missing as well.

I think the best thing is for you to attempt a Repair install.
You will need to download a new ISO of the proper Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 refresh from the links here....
    Microsoft
Then burn the DVD from it, and run the repair according to the instructions here....

i have a question not sure as to which one to download they have a few options 1. Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1 U (media refresh) or 2. Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1 (old). 3.Windows 7 Home Premium x64 RTM and the other one says the same as 3 but (not bootable) which i think is not for me since mine is bootable. sorry to be such a pain. just want to make sure i get the right one. :) again thank you for all your help.

##1 - the refresh - as I stated in my earlier post :)
In theory you should not lose any data - but a backup before such major system changes is always a good idea!

Validation would be a good double-check - go to www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate

Then lease post another MGADiag report so we can hopefully sign off on it.
