Hello
Sorry, i have only just seen these posts. I am on my way out, but will return to this tonight.

Thank you Voodoo for carrying out the experiment and helping us establish the fact that MAC address indeed plays a part in Windows Product Activation - whether it is Windows XP, Vista or Seven. In appreciation of your experimental spirit you have been repped.
HI
I have tried it all a number of ways now. LAN on and off, card in and out, I need that address or it's not activated.
Thanks

Hello
My apologies NoelDP (and jumanji) for not getting back to this thread sooner, work and one thing and another interfering with my PlayTime!!!
I will post the MGADiag report as requested, just a quick question or two.
1. Do you wish me to post them in their entirety or edited? From what i remember of these, there is a lot of other stuff that may not be needed?
2. Is there anything; numbers etc. that i should hide before posting?
Thanks
VooDoo

No problem - I ain't goin' anywhere :)
Simply post the full reports, as there's nothing confidential in them (there are tens - if not hundreds - of thousands of them on the MS forums, and the Privacy statement in the tool will give you some detail of what it's about).
Thanks for coming back!
