updates won't install after windows update agent updated
I keep getting the "NTVDM CPU has encountered and illegal instruction" every time windows update tries to run (wuauclt.exe) and updates won't install. This started after the new Windows UPdate Agent was installed around 6/14. No updates have installed since then, I just get the popup errors. I run several scans with Malwarebytes, Spybot, AVG and nothin was found. I ran the Fixit tool from MS and it indicated that there was a problem with windows update agent and the problem was fixed, but it still doesn't work. I'd love to reinstall windows update agent, but windows won't let me. Even the \wuforce command won't force a reinstall. Can anyone have any ideas?

Resetting windows updates didn't help
Uninstalled all AV programs, used AVG cleaner, ran MSE, MSE found nothing
Ran SFC 3 times, it says it found corrupt files but could not fix them. I saved the CBS.log file and could post it if necessary.

Here are the files. I saved the screen shots in paint. Two files so you could see the entire list. I had to compress the log file as it was too large to attach the way it was.

Mmm. OK, I don't see anything obvious. That error message is sometimes associated with running 16-bit drivers, which is why I asked about the Epson.
I noticed you have a ComboFix icon on your desktop - did someone guide you through that, or did you just run it on its own? What sort of malware were you trying to get rid of?

I wasn't guided. I was just trying everything. It won't run anyway. It just freezes up and I have to force a reboot after an hour or so. Thats why on on this forum. I can do a repair install. Do you think that might work?
