win 7 pro build 7601 this copy of windows is not genuine please help

    i have the latest free avast.. and when i went to that site all five tests passed.. and i used ie for the validate test ..still i dont understand why i need to validate when all signs point to that being done already what does that build error really mean thanks again

    Validation is required to ensure that you're entitled to the benefits of Genuine Windows - such as IE9 and MSE.

    Lets try this
    Uninstall KB971033 from teh list of INstalled Updates
    reboot
    Download a new copy from here Description of the update for Windows Activation Technologies
    and install it
    reboot
    attemp validation again
    run another MGADiag report

    maybe good news


    ok here is what has happened last night the build 7601 error came on again while it was on i downloaded all new updates and ie9 and all went fine dont understand why if i was not valid...question here is if i was not valid i would not have been able to get ie9.. ok tonight i right click my comp windows says activated and hologram at right is there.. tonight i deleted kb971033... and reloaded.... rebooted...validated at www.support.microsoft.com/pag and the next window i have never seen it says....welcome to windows because windows is installed on your pc is genuine enjoy security ,reliability and protection it provides. i took a picture of that ....here is the report after all that whats your opinion of this and do you think the kb file was bad and the cause if it comes on again i give up thanks again

    That's always a possibility - and well done for finding the/a solution!
    It's not one that would have occured to me to try, as the normal error messages that appear when the update is broken aren't present in your original report.
