WinUpdate installers on second partition after clean install.
I'm not even sure if this is an issue but it is slightly annoying. I installed Windows 7 on a freshly formated partition. The thing is, I have a second partition that i recently formated before installing windows 7, and when i run windows update some of the update installers such as:
Windows6.0-KB956250-v6001-x64, netfx_Core_x64, a variety of DLL files and Bitmap images
are saved here: (D:\21d7c6b1a5b8d0976e32) which is a folder on my second partition.
My question is why? And is it safe to remove that folder? It seems to me it is a temporary folder containing .NET installers. But why there?
