Windows Genuine and Activation Issue Posting Instructions

Post a full unedited report, meanwhile:

You may want to run System File Checker(SFC) scan

To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:

    1) Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.

    2) Right-click cmd in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator.

3)If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue

    4) At the command prompt, the following line, and then press ENTER:
    sfc /scannow

    Hi saadoo,

    Welcome,

This error can occur because Windows Update is not correctly installed on your computer or there is any component that is failing. To do this, I recommend you visit the following link:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058>

Run the FixIt that there is, then reboot your system and try again to download updates and install the same.

A TIP: Temporarily disable your antivirus when you go to download and install updates.

    Glad to Help.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi saadoo,

Thank you for replying. I appreciate your patience and cooperation.

As you are still facing issues, therefore, the best option would be to reinstall the Windows. I would request you to kindly backup the data on your system before formatting the hard drive and reinstalling the Windows.

    Glad to Help.

    Thanks & Regards,
