| | Windows 7 Updates Repeating Windows update lately has been offering me the same exact updates. They are Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 for x64 (KB2656351) and Update for Microsoft.NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 for x64 (KB2600217). Whenever I install them Windows will notify me again in 5 minutes or so. Shutting down would also install them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

| | .NET update problems are the bane of everyone's life! Do you know if you actually need .NET 4? - if not, then the simplest thing is to simply uninstall it. |

| | Uninstalled .NET 4 Framework and the two updates are gone. I guess it worked? Well the problem's solved for now. Thanks Noel. |
