    Windows 10 Update.

I do not want Windows 10 but I am concerned that this will be downloaded automatically as part of the normal update procedure. Is that correct and do I need to do something to stop this happening please?

Hello, the answer to your problem is "Brink"
Just to be sure it will stop the upgrade as well.

It won't unless you tell the system you want it. Follow the link in MeOnMine's post and you'll be fine.

Many thanks. Windows 7 works fine so why change it.

That's the free upgrade question and to be sure it's an option for the next year to decide on
You can also outright buy win-10 pro for 140.us for preorders on Newegg.
I believe that will drop but there's really no telling.

I am trying to "HIDE" KB3035583 so I can re-install it. If I go to Installed Updates I can uninstall it but how do I hide it please?

When you're notified that updates are available see if it's offered, if it is right click on it and click on Hide.

Many thanks, it was installed on 16th July so I assume I do not have the option to "Hide". Presumably if I uninstall KB3035583 I would be able to download it again?

That's correct. After its uninstalled keep checking updates until it's offered again then you can hide it.
