...then take a look at the "Let me fix it myself" section.
I've never had a issue letting the OS rebuild the entire folder...
But - I have a Windows 7 box that is failing to install the 3 updates that you mentioned at the start of this thread and rebuilding the entire folder did not help.
:-( Yes it was that one and two others linked to by clicking "Get help with this error." I did get them download thanks to Derek's links and Googling them. I did not install KB2529073, it is the one that killed my USB. | My System Specs |

Well I tried that stopping update service > deleting folders in C:Windows/SoftwareDistribution and then restarting updates in services but it is now showing no updates in updates history.
So I am just wondering if they have just been hidden or deleted - if so why are they not being downloaded? | | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop

Check the Installed Updates listing.
