Windows 7 Updates stuck at 0%, Error 80200001

So I have searched this forum diligently (and Microsoft's website), downloaded multiple scripts and FixIt-ers, and have had absolutely no luck. This is killing me! I am stuck needing 93 files updated, and for some reason I cannot use the run/cmd program to install Automatic Updates (It is missing from services.msc). I am really stuck, and I normally don't get stuck. This is why I need your help.

Is there any other information I need to give you? I'm using a Sony Vaio EA290X. I use Ccleaner if that helps... Last time I got updated was over a month ago. Thanks so much for your help.

so apparently the key to fixing it was creating an account on this forum :) i will let you know if I have more problems or if i ever figure out what it was that fixed it. Thanks anyways!

See if this helps: You cannot install some updates or programs

And have you tried the readiness tool?
