Not received new Windows August update patches today. Need for concern

Perhaps I am overreacting but I checked my Windows Updates and I have them set to manually let me install them but automatically download.

So I used check for updates and it checked but didn't return any new updates and provided no message after checking just the list of older updates which are not critical only small things like time zone adjustment still remain in my list.

Now I do know that my XP OS on my other computer will for some odd reason delieve my Windows Updates on the wednesday after patch tueday, but I can't recall if this has been the case on this Windows 7 PC.

I would think that manually checking for the new August updates would find them but it was not the case.

    Any insight appreciated.

I do want to add that I use MSE and I DID receive an update for it today since I see that it is installed on 8/13. So I wonder what is going on here? I'm correct in understanding that WUAUCLT.exe DOES service both Windows update and MSE updates correct?

Is it a time when you usually find patch tuesday updates available there? I don't know if patches become available at 12:01AM local time, or are available at a certain world time, etc. But I would not be concerned yet, Here in Cal, USA mine will not be available until tomorrow. Since I look when I get home, I am unsure if they would be available after 12:01...

The patches don't usually come out until mid-morning Redmond time, AFAIK - I don't start worrying until Wednesday morning UK time :)
