    Welcome to the forum fliint

*Uninstall Itunes with revo uninstallaers advanced mode and remove is remaining registry keys.
Revo Uninstaller Pro - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs easily, Forced Uninstall

*Do the steps mentioned in the link below.

What is the System Update Readiness Tool?

*Do you get any errors after the SFC Scannow?

Keep us posted for further suggestions.

Well without administrator privileges for downloading you will have to contact the administrator.

Did you try the System update readiness tool?
    Also try
    Windows Update - Reset

I'm guessing you would have to do a Repair Install or a Clean Install Windows 7

    fliint,

Read this tutorial and then attach sfcdetails.txt to your next post:
System File Checker - SFC _SCANNOW Command

Revo Uninstaller Pro will not require you to edit the registry.
Revo Uninstaller Pro will edit the registry for you as long as you choose the option for such.

The use of Revo Uninstaller Pro is not essential. You can let microsoft uninstall for you.

Control Panel | Programs and Features | scroll to the program that you want to delete | right-click on the program and choose uninstall

Did you run the Update Readiness Tool? Yes or No?
