Windows 7 Build 7601: Suddenly "This copy of Windows is not genuine"

I suddenly started receiving an error that "This copy of Windows is not genuine" even though I am sure it is genuine. I have been using it for a year without a problem. When I try to re-activate it, I get an error that it is not a genuine copy. I ran the diagnostic tool, and here's the report pasted below. I hope someone can help me -- thanks in advance for your help!

You have a Trusted Store Tamper, which may or may not be causing your Key to be seen as counterfeit.
We need to try and find out what's causing the tamper, and fix that, before we can establish whether your key is a problem.

The tamper timestamp - TTS Error: T:20120825145218934- shows the system detected it last at 14:52 on 25 Aug.
please reboot and see if the timestamp changes to the reboot time.

If it does, then we know that the tamper is still active, and the chances are that it's malware (unless you know of any recent installs or driver updates that could be affecting the system?)

Please download and install Malwarebytes Anti-malware (free version) - UNtick 'Enable free trial of MBAM PRO' at the end of the installation - from www.malwarebytes.org and update it, then run a full scan in your main account, and Quick scans in any other user accounts.

    Delete everything it finds

Please run a full CHKDSK and SFC scan....
Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories
Right-click on the Command Prompt entry
Select Run as Administrator and accept the UAC prompt - the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up.

    At the Command prompt, type
    CHKDSK C: /R
    and hit the Enter key.

You will be told that the drive is locked,
and the CHKDSK will run at he next boot - hit the Y key, and then reboot.
The chkdsk will take a few hours depending on the size of the drive, so be patient!
After the CHKDSK has run, Windows should boot normally (possibly after a second auto-reboot) - then run the SFC.

SFC -System File Checker - Instructions
Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories
Right-click on the Command Prompt entry
Select Run as Administrator and accept the UAC prompt - the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up.
    At the Command prompt, type
    SFC /SCANNOW
    and hit the Enter key

Wait for the scan to finish - make a note of any error messages - and then reboot.
Post a new MGADiag report with details of any error messages encountered.

This seemed to solve my problem. First, I rebooted, and got the same error about my copy not being genuine. However, I forgot to run the WGADiag tool, so I don't know if the timestamp changed. I then did the chkdsk command (took several hours!). It did not report any errors that I could see, but after I restarted, Windows promptly activated itself. I am posting a new WGADiag -- let me know if you see anything suspicious in there... Otherwise, I think my issue is solved! Thank you!

    Interesting result!
The system is now seeing the the Key as perfectly normal and is properly activated - the validation passed only 1.5 hours after the earlier one failed, according to the WAT timestamps - so there may have been a problem with the clock initially?

Please copy the C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log file to your desktop, and compress the copy - then attach the compressed file to your reply. It will help me try and work out what changed so that I can better diagnose the iitial error.

Your machine appears to be good to go, so good luck!
