    I just go to Windows Update and click on 122 important updates available.
    I don't find any service pack to install.

    Then it is your call - install it if you want the improvements listed in that post.

    Most (all?) of the security patches that come with SP1 you can (and hopefully already have) install(ed) as stand alone patches.

    You must install certain updates prior to installing SP1

    There is 123 updates to be downloaded and installed. I will reply after all updates has been installed and see what happens.

    When you are ready for SP1, you will get it through the updater
