    Product activation question in windows install


    I few months ago I deleted my recovery partition (OOPS)
    So I wanted to know
    Could I use the product key that is on my laptop to legit actavate windows 7 home premium

    Yes.

    Download the correct ISO from mydigitallife.info, burn it to a DVD, install, activate with your existing Product Key.

    Each "OEM" COA activation key it forever tied to a specific Motherboard.

    Just to confirm the COA key is the machines product key?

    So do I have to install 32bit home premium

    The correct term is the Product Key.

    It is found on the Certificate Of Authenticity (COA) sticker.

    I am reasonably sure you can install and activate either 32 or 64, but you need to confirm your hardware will support 64 bit.

    The Product Key will apply to only one "version"--e.g. Home Premium, Professional, whatever.

    Version is Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows 7 etc
    Edition is Home Basic, Home Premium, Ultimate, etc.

    COA Key is an accepted abbreviation for the 'Product Key printed on the MicrosoftCertificate of Authority attached to the sytem under consideration'
