| | Your system specs shows that you have a Toshiba laptop. In case you have a royalty OEM's desktop/laptop, retrieving the product key from your system will only give you the OEM-SLP key You will not be able to activate your system with that OEM-SLP key. You have to use the COA key on the sticker affixed to your system. |

| | Hum jumanji if I might make a suggestion as soon as you get on try SIW or even Speccy they will show all licences and codes for just about everything. SIW - Download Speccy - System Information - Free Download < watch out for the add ons - can't remember what they are now as there is so many but things like Askbar etc |

| | So the guide helped me. I used one of the programs in there and it worked. The key is OEM, but it came in an upgrade disc that was mailed to me cause the computer came with vista. |
