@x BlueRobot
Matieco, please ignore this, it's a little information to help x BlueRobot. My instructions to you will follow this :)

These are the missing files right Tom?
EDIT: I don't have a 64-bit operating system, so went to the Microsoft website to try and find the update, this the correct update:
KB2676562 Windows 7 64-bit
I made a custom url link title, just in case your wondering
Yeah, there's our problem, good job :) You've also found the update page, so that's the next stage done as well. It's not over yet though! Just something for future reference, if you want to see information about an update then most (some updates are part of others and won't have a page) have a page. You can find the KB article page at the following URL:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/{KB article number}
So in this case, the page is:
MS12-034: Description of the security update for Windows kernel-mode drivers: May 8, 2012
Sometimes it's useful to double check to see if the files that we want are actually inside the update before we download it - especially if it's a big update. A quick search on the list finds our files, we're good to go :)
As I said before, .cat and .mum files come in pairs and need to be replaced in pairs - in this scenario we don't have to worry about that as both files in the pair are corrupt.
Another note, you will see the file locations in the CheckSUR.log are duplicated. Don't worry about this. I have been told not to worry about this as it's probably a bug in the SURT that isn't worth fixing. Also, the SURT logs are stored in the following folder:
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\
There are two CheckSUR logs in this folder,
CheckSUR.log and
CheckSUR.persist.log.
CheckSUR.log contains the log from the last run of the SURT
only.
CheckSUR.persist.log contains all of the SURT logs in chronological order. I always ask for
CheckSUR.persist.log so I can see previous problems that the OP has had :)
Now to download the update :) Save it to somewhere you can easily find it.
A good friend of mine, niemiro (an ex SF member), has created an excellent tool to extract update packages; you can do it manually but it's much easier to use his tool. There's a tutorial on it here:
Windows Update - Extract an Update
Use
Method 1,
Method 2 is the manual way.
When it completes the extraction, it will open a folder containing the files.
Note: It is critical that you choose the right file. For each .cat and .mum file, there will be one with "_bf~" in the middle of the file name, make sure you realise this.
Code:
package_4_for_kb2676562~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.3.cat
package_4_for_kb2676562_bf~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.3.cat
So zip up the files that we need (both the mum and the cat files) and upload it here and I'll take a look at them to see if you've done it right :)
Now you have the files needed for the replacement, we need to instruct the OP on how to replace them because we've done all the work that we can do at our end.
It's very fiddly to replace the files manually because of permissions set on the files and is highly inadvisable to replace them this way unless you're 100% sure on what you're doing. Even then I wouldn't do it! Fortunately, there is a much easier way.
The SURT can replace files and handle all of the permissions for us :)
We need to put the files in the following folders for the SURT to replace them, but after we do this, all it takes is one run of the SURT (I usually throw in a reboot for good measure as well!) and it's done.
.mum and .cat files =
%Windir%\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages
.manifest files =
%Windir%\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests
In this scenario, we don't have any manifests so we only have to paste the files in one folder. I can't think of anything more to add for now (if this interests you and you want to take it further then please feel free to ask and I'll send you a few links), so I'll switch to instructions for the OP. Post your instructions here anyway, even if the problem is fixed and I can help you improve them - if they need improving, that is!
@Matieco
Please download the attached file:
Attachment 232051 and save it to your
Desktop.
Open the file,
Extracted.zip, by double clicking on it. Inside, you will find two files:
Package_4_for_KB2676562~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.3.mum Package_4_for_KB2676562~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.3.cat
Copy and paste these into the following folder:
C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages
Then run the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again. When it finishes installing,
reboot your computer then copy and paste the contents of the CheckSUR.persist.log again please:
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log
