    It's a driver update for Acer USB keyboard or mouse from what I can find on Google O.o

    EDIT: I haven't seen the update within my Windows Updates.

    It appears to be an update for an Android connector application - do you have any smartphones installed?

    Almost certainly, it's probably the base on which Acer built an app.

    I have a Samsung Galaxy S 1 plugged in, I've had it for 2 years now.

    Yesterday I reinstalled windows for a friend who got hit by a nasty rootkit leaving the computer useless, after wiping the disk with 0's, and performing the clean install, windows update among the 100+ updates suggested to install Skype...go figure.

    What i see in your screenshot (Post #3) that seems odd is this update was Released in March 2004 and Published 10/07/2012.

    Maybe the Publish Date explains why you have had the phone for 2 years and not seen this update before.

    Why is there is 8+ years difference in these dates
