getting windows activation errors for like a couple months now im finally fed up with it after calling windows support and having them basically do nothing to fix it. its been long enough to where there isnt a good restore point so i need direct help to fix the issue. any help would be great thanks for you time.

This may simply be caused by a bad set of Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers -

Installing the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers
try downloading and installing them from here - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=2101&DwnldID=21730

Once complete, please reboot twice, then post another MGADiag report.

i wasnt sure what to do with the f6 zip file and after i ran the exe it was gone. i rebooted twice here is my diag.

It's the iata_enu.exe file you need..
download that and run it

i confirmed that the ias driver was installed for my ahci sata controller through the driver details. And i ran the Exe not the zip file method. i also restarted as directed for the installation my last diag is everything up to this point.

YOu MUST ensure that the right version is installed -please follow my instructions.
If there is a problem with the current install, a refresh in this way will clear it.

OK, that's not fixed it
Let's take a look at a few of the likely culpris, then....

Open an Elevated Command Prompt, and run the following commands

NET START CRYPTSVC
ATTRIB C:\Windows\System32\Catroot2\*.* /S
ICACLS C:\Windows\System32\Catroot2\*.*

post the results.


Here are some instructions to make life easier
1) To open an Elevated Command Prompt Window (the CP window), click on Start, All Programs, Accessories – then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
2) To run the commands easier, highlight the block of commands, and right-click on the highlight – select Copy. In the CP Window, click on the black/white icon at top left – select Paste. The commands will run but may not complete the last command, so hit the Enter Key once.
3) To copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.
